Emmanuel was the world's first new-built vessel with a fish processing plant - previously there had only been conversions. This happy tale started when shipowner John de Bruyn opproaches us with the task of developing a process vessel. From then until now, the feedback from the other side of the globe has been exclusively positive.

Unlike many of the vessels we have designed, Emmanuel does not appear outside our office windows from time to time - perhaps not so surprising as it operates in Tasmania. Kristiansund and Tasmania are about as far away from each other as possible.

«Down under» Emmanuel brings the salmon from the fish farms to the market in a shorter time, and is equipped with automated lines for stun and bleed.
