Frøy Finnmark is built to withstand harsher weather, as it will operate in less sheltered areas in Finnmark, northern Norway. The vessel is equipped with an anti-rolling tank, which makes it stable and calm.

This is the second vessel in the Macho25 range, after Frøy Server. It started operating in January 2019 for Norwegian Royal Salmon in Finnmark.

Macho25 has a well-refined hull which contributes to a low fuel consumption, and is easy to adapt for anchor handling and operations at the fish farms.

The propulsion is diesel-electric and the two main electric motors from Siemens produce 500 HP / 374 kW each. The vessel can support delousing operations as well as carry out net changes, mooring operations and other operations.

The vessel is a powerful little devil, equipped with a main deck crane with 150 tm capacity as well as a crane with 65 tm capacity.
