Gåsø Høvding is the largest contract in the history of Møre Maritime, and it was a touching moment when the vessel sailed into the port of Kristiansund in December 2021. You cannot get a better Christmas present than that!
This vessel defines our slogan which says we design the aquaculture vessel of the future, because it has a unique breadth for a live fish carrier. This is exactly what we want to achieve through our designs - "to take the aquaculture industry one step forward".
Over the course of the project, we went back and forth with the client and suppliers several times in order to optimize the systems and use of space onboard. In this way, valuable experience and understanding of the customer's needs was gathered.
Møre Maritime is proud to have brought to life "the world's largest live fish carrier" with its 7500 m3 cargo holds, and we thank Frøy for their trust and collaboration!
