We have always had a strong emphasis on the environment and technology. In close collaboration with the shipping company, shipyard and the ship designer Møre Maritime, we have come up with solutions which are good for the fish, for those who use our equipment, those who will eat the fish, and not least solutions which are good for the environment.

Gåsø Freyja er søsterskipet til Gåsø Jarl og ble overlevert fra Fiskerstrand Verft i 2017. Det er en topp moderne brønnbåt som blant annet ble konstruert for å gjennomføre ferskvannsbehandling av fisken.

The vessel is based on closed technology which meets all requirements for fish welfare, and has an emergency stun and bleed facility installed should the need arise.

The vessel has diesel-electric propulsion with four diesel generators with an output of 1400 ekW each, as well as two 1200 kW electric motors.

Cflow has delivered a range of equipment for fish treatment, including a vacuum pump system, fish counter, smolt counter, ozone system, UV system and lice filter.
