This investment is a big and important boost for Håløy Havservice, while it is also necessary to be able to keep up with developments. The equipment is getting bigger and the tasks heavier in the aquaculture industry, and with that comes the need for vessels of this size. We are very satisfied with the design, and look forward to receiving this powerful vessel from Sletta Verft - a vessel ready to do the heavy work.

Håløy Jarl er det første fartøyet av designet Macho25W – en bredere og videreutviklet versjon av Macho25-designet. Båtene har målene 25×11,6 meter. Den er for tiden under bygging hos Sletta Verft og skal leveres i løpet av første halvår i 2022.
Like the original Macho25, this one has a well-refined low-resistance hull which ensures low fuel consumption. With a state-of-the-art diesel-electric propulsion plant with a large battery pack, significant environmental benefits and annual fuel savings can be expected. It is also equipped with two electric side propellers producing 245 hp each.
This design is, like its predecessor Macho25, optimized for very heavy service operations in exposed coastal areas within the aquaculture industry.
