Macho25 is a service vessel designed for work in open waters. The vessel is designed to be able to carry out a wide range of operations related to aquaculture.
The vessel design has a carefully developed hull which reduces fuel consumption. Larger battery packs may be installed to make the vessel even greener. With its simple and effective ballast system, the vessel can be adapted for anchor handling operations and operations by the fish farms.
We have developed several versions of this design - for example Macho25W which is 1 m wider at 11.6 m as well as concepts which are a combination of service vessel and process vessel.
The design is based on a solidly built steel monohull with a large bollard pull, impressive speed and good maneuverability. The large work deck has room for up to five 20ft containers, as well as being easy to clean.
The vessel can be equipped with powerful winches and large remote-controlled cranes with a long reach.
The comfort level of the vessel is high, with its modern mess, dayroom and operational areas with clear views. This provides a safe workplace in pleasant surroundings.
